Learning how to make fire is an essential survival skill, here, a person is using primitive means to start a fire in the woods.

Join us for an essential hands-on workshop designed to teach practical emergency preparedness and basic survival skills. Whether you’re preparing for natural disasters, outdoor adventures, or simply want to be more self-reliant, this field day will equip you with vital knowledge and techniques.

What you’ll learn:

  • Emergency Kit Essentials – Build and customize your personal emergency preparedness kit
  • Water Procurement & Purification – Find, collect, and make water safe to drink
  • Fire Starting Techniques – Master multiple methods for creating fire in various conditions
  • Basic Shelter Construction – Build emergency shelters using natural and available materials
  • Signal & Communication – Learn effective ways to signal for help and communicate in emergencies
  • Navigation Basics – Use natural landmarks and basic tools to find your way
  • First Aid Fundamentals – Address common injuries and medical situations

What to Bring:

  1. Comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe shoes
  2. Water bottle and snacks
  3. Notebook and pen for taking notes
  4. Weather-appropriate gear (hat, sunscreen, jacket)
