Cooking is always a big favorite with the kids\, so one day\, we make a simple salad together with ingredients straight from our garden. We end our week Thursday with a farm to table dinner party for all the families\, which the kids help plan\, harvest and prepare. Campers also the practical skill of starting a campfire. They love that! \n \nOur campers love Farm Camp\, the time spent with the animals and the farmers\, being in the garden and the barn\, making veggie sculptures and creating art. They also really enjoy the time we spend in the woods; playing in the creek\, hunting snakes and amphibians\, and our mushroom foray is always a big hit! \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nThis program is tailor-made for families seeking to enrich their children’s appreciation of nature and sustainability while providing a safe\, engaging\, and educational environment.
